Edited by Eric Bourguignon and Yannick Giguère, this project consists of a monthly meeting between independent filmmakers and the public in order to exchange ideas, create links and view a selection of short films selected.
On the agenda for the second evening to be held October 29: a multitude of short films that will not leave you indifferent, including works by ... Jef Grenier, Éric Bourguignon, Maxime Haineault The Seminar Brothers, Mario Ouellet, for n 'to name a few. Before each film, the filmmakers present their creations to the public. The latter will be asked to evaluate short films by different criteria: narrative, visual quality and fun. At the end of the evening, the creators will receive an evaluation and written comments from the public. Favorite genres are drama, action, science fiction, horror, documentary and experimental film.

Montreal (Quebec), September 28, 2006 - In front of a room full and enthusiastic than last Sunday, September 24, held the launch event Ciné Chaos. Edited by Eric Bourguignon and Yannick Giguère, over forty people attended the start of an epic. Fifteen films have been screened, to the delight of the public. For the first edition, it was possible to see a range of styles and genres explored by various directors of short films. The evening was unquestionably successful. Ciné Chaos would like to thank everyone who made this event a success.

Mission statement
The objective of the Wicked Big Movie Is To Give alternative film makers a place to screen Their Works. Film makers are
Invited to Show Their short films of 45 minutes or less in an environment devoid of competition. We propose that the public evaluates the movies following these criteria: the narrative, the visual and the fun aspects of the short, and that, at the end of the evening, the creators receive these comments on a written form.
The film genres preferred by Gros Méchants Films are fiction, action, science-fiction, horror, documentary, and experimental.
We hope that these screening evenings will help local film creators to meet, to network and to pave the way for future collaborations within this eclectic community.

Submission Guidelines
1. All films will be viewed by the Gros Méchants Films organizers in order to program the screening evenings and also to ensure that the content of the films respect our philosophy.
2. Each film must be submitted with a fact sheet containing the following information:
Title of film
Length
Technical team
Film maker’s phone number
Film maker’s email
3. Films length must not exceed 30 minutes including the credits.
4. Film must be submitted at least one week prior to screening evenings.
5. Films can be submitted either on mini DV or VHS format

Animation with narration
Comedy
Drama
Medieval fantastic
Horror
Police/thriller/suspense
Science Fiction
War
Western
Video clips with narrative
We are open to receive experimental and documentary movies in order to plan a specific screening evening for these genres.
