The chairs of the three universities Aix-Marseille will be submitted to a vote this Friday text on the founding principles of a merger which does not bode well. A meeting was recently held in Luminy today and denounced the way that may be taken. A petition has been set up to alert the university presidencies

The text of the founding principles of university single was released on 5 December 2009
and will be offered a vote on 18 December. It is based
an organization "entrepreneurial" and centralized university, and do not put
the heart of the project the principles of collegiality and democracy.
We deplore the lack of discussion around the content of this text, and
wish to reaffirm the principles that must be based
single university, namely:
- a public service of teaching and research quality
- organization and operation based on ALL players
university.
