After more than nine weeks of mobilization in the universities and laboratories, the government remains deaf to our demands and does not yield anything on the essentials.
Regarding the decree on the status of teachers and researchers: the strong mobilization has forced to return to the starting position entirely local promotions. However, the principle of modulation of services, the first milestone of the destruction of civil servant status of academics, is not questioned.
On mastering the training of teachers: the minister wishes to implement its reform irreversibly next year. He acknowledged the impossibility of organizing the new formula in such a short time.
Regarding the organization of Research: EPSTs are always doomed to become a medium agency ANR increasingly important in the research landscape. Concerning employment
science: over 1000 jobs lost in 2009, only 130 were able to be saved today. And insecurity continues to move heavily in university laboratories and "thanks" to the NRA and the LRU.
